Does the woven basket feel scratchy to my cat?
No. The cushion pad lifts your cat off the woven surface entirely, they rest on soft padded cotton, with the coiled wall giving them a firm edge to curl against. Best of both worlds.
What sizes does it come in?
Three sizes, 14 in, 16 in, and 18 in across (35, 40, 46 cm), to fit cats from kittens through large adults.
Can the cushion be washed?
Yes. The cushion pad lifts out and can be washed on a gentle cycle. The woven body wipes clean with a damp cloth.
What's it made of?
A hand woven natural fiber body coiled into a round nest with side handles for moving it. A removable cotton cushion pad sits inside for softness and warmth.
Will my cat actually use a basket?
Cats settle best in beds with a real, defined edge, that's what the coiled wall provides. It cradles them in a small, distinct spot of their own. Most cats claim a defined edge bed faster than an open cushion.
Does it look like a pet bed?
Honestly, it looks like a basket you'd keep out on purpose. That's the point, Purli design blends into a living room instead of fighting it.
How do I care for the woven body?
Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry. Natural fiber can shed loose strands and loosen slightly with heavy daily use, totally normal for hand woven goods.

FAQ
Will my cat actually use it? Most cats settle in within a few days. Put it where your cat already naps, add a familiar blanket, and give it a week before you decide.
Which size should I pick? Measure your cat from nose to the base of the tail and add a few inches. Every size is listed in inches further up this page.
Can I wash it? Yes. Covers unzip and go in the machine on a cold, gentle cycle.
Does it work for two cats? Sharing usually works best if you size up, or add a second piece so nobody has to negotiate.

Materials. Soft brushed outer fabric over a padded fill, with a stitched base to keep the shape.
Care. Unzip and machine wash the cover cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry flat. Spot clean the base with a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry, bleach or iron.
Made in small batches, so colour and pile can vary a little from piece to piece.
Measurements are taken flat and unstuffed, so allow up to an inch either way. On-screen colours are approximate.
Supervise kittens and senior cats while they get used to something new.

1-year warranty. Every Purli piece is covered for one year against manufacturing faults in the stitching, seams and frame.
30-day guarantee. If your cat is not into it, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will make it right.
To start either one, email us with your order number and a photo, and we will repair, replace or refund.
Normal wear from enthusiastic scratching and napping is not covered.

Love the basket itself and so does my cat. Only thing is I wish there was a darker cushion option to match my couch, the cream shows fur a bit.
