Hand-woven to last
Natural seagrass is woven by hand into a sturdy basket with a soft, removable cushion inside.
Coil Basket Bed
$90
OR
A hand woven basket bed with a soft cushion that gives your cat a defined spot of their own.
Free US Shipping
Every Purli order ships free across the contiguous United States and Canada. Orders are packed within 1 to 2 business days and usually arrive within 5 to 8 business days of your order.
30-Day Money-Back
Give it 30 days. If your cat will not settle in it, email us and we will refund you. Cats take a few days to claim a new bed, so the clock is deliberately generous.
Hand-Woven Fiber
Woven cattail grass body with a cotton cushion. No plastic shell and no synthetic frame — which also means natural fiber can shed strands and loosen with heavy use.
Real Human Support
Questions go to a person, not a bot. We answer sizing and settling-in questions every day and will tell you honestly if a different Purli shape suits your cat better.
A real edge to curl against: The coiled woven wall holds its shape around your cat, so they get a rim to press into instead of a flat pad that spreads out under them.
Lifted off cold floors: The padded cushion sits your cat above the ground, which matters most on tile and hardwood.
The pad lifts out to wash: Take the cushion out and run it on a gentle cycle. Wipe the woven body with a damp cloth, then air dry.
Hand woven, not moulded: Natural cattail grass woven by hand into a coil, with a cotton cushion inside. No plastic shell.
Three sizes, always in inches: 14 in, 16 in and 18 in across. Pick by how your cat sleeps, curled tight or stretched out.
Carry handles built in: Side handles are woven into the body, so the bed moves room to room without disturbing the cushion.
Looks like decor, not a pet bed: Warm woven texture that earns a spot in the living room instead of getting pushed into a corner.
*Natural fiber can shed strands and loosen with heavy use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the woven basket feel scratchy to my cat?
No. The cushion pad lifts your cat off the woven surface entirely, they rest on soft padded cotton, with the coiled wall giving them a firm edge to curl against. Best of both worlds.
What sizes does it come in?
Three sizes, 14 in, 16 in, and 18 in across (35, 40, 46 cm), to fit cats from kittens through large adults.
Can the cushion be washed?
Yes. The cushion pad lifts out and can be washed on a gentle cycle. The woven body wipes clean with a damp cloth.
What's it made of?
A hand woven natural fiber body coiled into a round nest with side handles for moving it. A removable cotton cushion pad sits inside for softness and warmth.
Will my cat actually use a basket?
Cats settle best in beds with a real, defined edge, that's what the coiled wall provides. It cradles them in a small, distinct spot of their own. Most cats claim a defined edge bed faster than an open cushion.
Does it look like a pet bed?
Honestly, it looks like a basket you'd keep out on purpose. That's the point, Purli design blends into a living room instead of fighting it.
How do I care for the woven body?
Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry. Natural fiber can shed loose strands and loosen slightly with heavy daily use, totally normal for hand woven goods.
When will it arrive?
Free shipping on every Purli order, usually 5 to 8 business days. Tracking emailed when it ships.
What's the return policy?
30 day guarantee, full refund, real human support. If it's not the right basket for your cat, send it back.
Notes
Materials. Soft brushed outer fabric over a padded fill, with a stitched base to keep the shape.
Care. Unzip and machine wash the cover cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry flat. Spot clean the base with a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry, bleach or iron.
Made in small batches, so color and pile can vary a little from piece to piece.
Measurements are taken flat and unstuffed, so allow up to an inch either way. On-screen colors are approximate.
Supervise kittens and senior cats while they get used to something new.
Shipping policy
Orders are packed within 1 to 2 business days and usually arrive within 5 to 8 business days of your order.
Tracking is emailed to you the moment your order leaves us.
Delivery can take longer over public holidays and busy sale periods.
If your tracking has not moved in a week, email us and we will chase it for you.
Warranty
1-year warranty. Every Purli piece is covered for one year against manufacturing faults in the stitching, seams and frame.
30-day guarantee. If your cat is not into it, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will make it right.
To start either one, email us with your order number and a photo, and we will repair, replace or refund.
Normal wear from enthusiastic scratching and napping is not covered.

Love the basket itself and so does my cat
Only thing is I wish there was a darker cushion option to match my couch, the cream shows fur a bit.
