Why raise the bowl at all?
A raised bowl puts the food closer to your cat's mouth, so they eat with their head up rather than bent over the floor. Cats tend to eat more slowly that way, and older cats with stiff joints find it easier.
How big is it?
5.5 in across and 3.5 in tall on its legs. The steel bowl inside is about 2 in deep.
Is the steel bowl removable?
Yes. It lifts straight out of the patterned body and washes in seconds. That is the whole point of it.
Does it really stop food going everywhere?
The inner wall curves back over itself, so kibble your cat noses toward the edge rolls back down to the middle. It is not magic, but it is a lot tidier than a flat dish.
Will it slide around the floor?
Each of the four legs has a silicone pad on the bottom, so it grips rather than skates. The legs also unscrew by hand if you ever want it flat.
Can I use it for water?
Yes. Steel is better for water than plastic because it does not hold onto smells. A lot of people buy two and run one for food and one for water.
How long does shipping take?

What if my cat won't use it?
Cats can be stubborn about a new bowl. Give it a week in the same spot as the old one. If it still isn't working out, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
