Will the sisal hold up to daily scratching?
Sisal is the material cats actually like to dig their claws into, and the only natural fiber that holds up to repeated scratching without falling apart. Built for daily use.
Does it really protect my furniture?

Simple, attractive, and my cat loves curling up in it.
She basically lives in this thing now. I move it from room to room depending on where I am and it is so lightweight it takes two seconds.
The weave and the rim are lovely and my cat does sleep in it. Just be aware it runs a little small, my 14 pound boy fills it completely. Might suit a smaller cat better.
I cannot believe how nicely this blends into my modern decor. Guests think it is a decorative basket until they see the cat snoozing in it.
