Bowls & Feeders
Raised, tilted and wide enough for whiskers. Bowls that let a cat eat with their head up instead of crouched over a dish on the floor, in steel, bamboo and colours that sit quietly in a kitchen.
Collection FAQs
Why does a raised or tilted bowl matter?
Watch a cat eat from a flat dish on the floor and you will see them bend their neck down and forward for the whole meal. Raising the bowl and tilting it toward them lets them eat with their head level. It is easier on the neck, and cats who bolt their food and then bring it straight back up often do better with it. Older cats with stiff joints notice it most.
What is whisker fatigue, and do I need to worry about it?
A cat's whiskers are packed with nerve endings. Pressing them against the walls of a deep, narrow bowl at every mouthful bothers some cats enough that they eat around the edges, paw the food out onto the floor, or leave food behind. If that sounds like your cat, choose a wide, shallow dish. If your cat eats happily from anything, it is not something you need to fix.
Which bowl should I get?
If your cat pushes food out of the bowl, go for something wide and shallow like the Whisker. If they crane their neck or bring food back up, go for a tilted bowl like the Crest, Pillar or Pebble. If you want food and water in one tidy piece, the Bench holds both. The Domino is the one to pick if you mostly want it to look good in your kitchen.
Steel or plastic?
Steel does not stain, does not scratch easily, and does not hold onto the smell of yesterday's dinner, which is why every bowl here that touches food is either stainless steel or has a steel bowl that lifts out. The coloured parts are the bases and stands.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Every stainless steel bowl in the collection lifts out and goes in the dishwasher. Bamboo tops and wood-look legs should be wiped with a damp cloth instead of soaked.
My cat ignores new bowls. Will this be a waste of money?
Cats are creatures of habit. Put the new bowl down in exactly the same spot as the old one and give it about a week. Most come round. If yours doesn't, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
How long does shipping take?
