Frequently Asked Questions
Why a banana shape?
Cats love a bed with a wall to tuck against and a little overhead cover. The peel folds back into a soft side wall, so your cat can burrow in fully or flop half out with their head poking out, whatever mood they're in.
What sizes does it come in?
Four sizes, from kittens up to large cats. The peel and base scale together so the bed proportions feel right for cats of any size.
What colors are available?
Four colors, chosen to sit quietly in a living room or bedroom instead of standing out like a typical pet bed.
What's it made of?
Coral fleece on the outside, soft breathable fill inside the peel and base. Stays soft and holds warmth without overheating.
Is it portable?
Very. It's light enough to pick up and move to wherever your cat decided is the new favorite napping spot today.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash or gentle cycle in a laundry bag, then air dry. Lint roll the fur off between washes.
Will the fleece pill or flatten?
Coral fleece does pill with heavy daily use, that's normal for the material. The shape itself holds well. Most users get a long stretch of soft, full naps before any visible wear.
How do I get my cat to settle in?
Fold the peel back so the opening sits wide. Set it where your cat already naps in the sun. Tuck a familiar blanket inside. The curved shape pulls them in, most cats claim it within days.
When will it arrive?
Free shipping on every Purli order, usually 5 to 8 business days. Tracking emailed when it ships.
What if it's not the right fit?
30 day guarantee, full refund, real human support if you need it.
Notes
Materials. Most Purli beds pair a soft outer fabric with a padded fill; the exact materials for this one are listed in the description above.
Care. Where a bed has a removable cover, unzip it and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry flat. Wipe frames and hard parts with a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry, bleach or iron.
Made in small batches, so color and pile can vary a little from piece to piece.
Measurements are taken flat and unstuffed, so allow up to an inch either way. On-screen colors are approximate.
Supervise kittens and senior cats while they get used to something new.
Shipping policy
Orders are packed within 1 to 2 business days and usually arrive within 5 to 8 business days of your order.
Tracking is emailed to you the moment your order leaves us.
Delivery can take longer over public holidays and busy sale periods.
If your tracking has not moved in a week, email us and we will chase it for you.
Warranty
1-year warranty. Every Purli piece is covered for one year against manufacturing faults in the stitching, seams and frame.
30-day guarantee. If your cat is not into it, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will make it right.
To start either one, email us with your order number and a photo, and we will repair, replace or refund.
Normal wear from enthusiastic scratching and napping is not covered.

Bought the yellow one and my cat hasn't left it since it arrived. She loves burrowing under the peel part and just disappearing for hours.

Really soft coral fleece and adorable, but my 14 pound boy can only fit half in. Going to order the largest size next time. Still a great little bed.

The fleece is genuinely soft and warm, not the cheap scratchy kind. My kitten curls up under the fold back peel every night.

Lightweight and easy to move from room to room
I carry it to wherever I'm sitting and she follows it.

I was skeptical about a banana bed but this thing is the real deal. The peel folds back into a soft little wall and my cat tucks herself right in. Adorable AND functional.

Tossed it in the wash after a month and it came out perfectly fine, still fluffy. Only knocking one star because the pink looked a bit more salmon than the photo. My girls still love it.

This is the most photogenic cat bed I own
Half my camera roll is now my cat flopped half out of a banana. The white one shows dirt though so keep that in mind.

Jul 2024
My cat is on the larger side and the medium was a little snug. Would recommend sizing up. Otherwise super cozy and she warms up to it fast.

Our two kittens fight over who gets the banana
They love burrowing under the peel and ambushing each other. Best $ I've spent on them.

The coral fleece is incredibly plush and my senior cat seems to love the warmth. She burrows all the way under and just pokes her face out. 🥰

Got the yellow size large for my 11 pound tabby and he flops half out of it like a little prince. The peel makes a nice wall he leans on.

Dec 2025
It weighs almost nothing so I just toss it wherever I want her to nap. She loves the fold back peel. Only wish is that they made it in gray for my decor.

Mar 2026
Bought one in pink and one in white because the first was such a hit. Both cats claimed their own banana within minutes.
