Why a raised rim instead of a flat bed?
Cats sleep deeper when their back is against something and their sides feel held. The high plush walls give them a wall to lean on; the filled base cradles them like a nest. Most cats fall asleep faster in this than a flat cushion.
What sizes are available?
Two sizes, 16 in across (40 cm) for kittens and small cats, 20 in (50 cm) for medium and large cats. Both sizes have walls tall enough for a full curl up.
What colors does it come in?
White and black. The cover is a soft plush that holds its color and stays fluffy through normal use.
Is there any assembly?
None. Take it out of the box, fluff the rim so the walls stand tall, and it's ready to use.
What's it made of?
A soft plush cover over a filled cushion base, with raised rim walls that hold their shape. Breathable so your cat doesn't overheat on long naps.
How do I clean it?
Spot clean with mild soap and air dry to keep the plush soft. Shake it out and refluff occasionally to keep the rim full and the base supportive.
How do I get my cat to actually use it?
Put it in a quiet, draft free corner your cat already gravitates to. Add a blanket or toy that smells familiar for the first few nights. Most cats claim the nest shape within a week, the curled up cradle is hard for a cat to resist.
