Why is it tilted?
A flat bowl on the floor makes a cat bend their neck down and forward for the whole meal. The Pebble angles the bowl toward them so they can eat with their head level. It is easier on the neck, and cats who bolt their food and bring it straight back up often do better with it.
How much does it hold?
400 ml, which is about 13.5 oz. It stands 3 in tall at the front, so it is low enough for a kitten and still comfortable for a full-grown cat.
Does the steel bowl come out?
Yes. It lifts straight out of the base and goes in the dishwasher. The base just needs a wipe.
Will it slide around?
The base sits on non-slip pads and is wider than the bowl, so a cat pushing into the rim does not send it across the kitchen.
Why steel instead of plastic?
Steel does not scratch, does not stain, and does not hold onto old food smells. Plastic bowls develop fine scratches that trap bacteria, which is why the only part that touches your cat's food here is stainless steel.
How long does shipping take?
Free US shipping, and it usually arrives in 5 to 8 days.
What if my cat won't use it?
Cats can be stubborn about a new bowl. Give it a week in the same spot as the old one. If it still isn't working out, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
